Hometown Dollars
Hometown Strasburg and the Strasburg Chamber of Commerce have worked together to launch a gift card program to help local businesses, by offering a new way to shop in Strasburg. Hometown Dollars cards are available in three denominations--$5, $10, and $25. They can be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce (157 N. Holliday St.) and the Hotel Strasburg (213 S. Holliday St.). On the back of each card is a list of the Participating Strasburg Businesses where the cards are honored, offering a wide variety of places from which to choose.
Employers are encouraged to purchase the Hometown Dollars gift cards for their customers and employees, for such things as special recognition and special events. Also, the gift cards make wonderful gifts for a family member, friend, teacher, or Secret Pal, and the purchase of these cards creates a great opportunity to promote and support our Strasburg businesses.
Hometown Strasburg has born the expense of printing the Hometown Dollars cards and publicizing their availability; however, there is no cost to the businesses to participate in this program, and they are totally reimbursed for the Hometown Dollars cards they accept in payment of purchases.
